I heard of this idea from my mom, who saw it on Pintrest. When we found it together, the pin was blocked. So I decided to take the general idea and blog about it, so people who would like to repin the idea can.
Step 1: Purchase the same color paint in two diffrent tones; One flat, and one gloss. ( I don't know if you could do a semi gloss and a high gloss, you could always try.)
Step 2: Paint the room in the flat.
Step 3: Paint the design of your choice in the gloss. ( I would recommend doing a stencil for design, unless you're really artistic...which I am not.
