New Blog

I had to get a new blog, because for some reason, I can't access my old one. Oh well! I'm not to worried about it, because I hardly ever updated that one. I swear, I really am going to try harder to keep this thing updated than the last one. On to more important things!

So, most of you all know that recently we have moved. To Wisconsin...that's right. I'm a cheese head. Which right now, isn't a bad thing, considering the Packers won the super bowl. ( To all my Wisconsin friends, it's sort of a big deal being a cheese head when you are from Minnesota.)
Onto about where we have moved and why. We have moved to Wisconsin, because my husband is now a Fire Ranger/Forester for the WIDNR. He's very excited to have this position available to him, because it's something new and exciting. Our house is a three bedroom, one and a quarter bath, ranch style home, and is very cozy. It has nice windows, a good furnace, and a dry basement. It's a little dated as far as the carpet goes, but hopefully we buy this house, then we can change the carpeting. And finish the basement.

The boys, have, for the most part, adjusted very well to the move. N. loves the house, and  H. is fairly indifferent, but has been waking in the middle of the night to nurse. I'm hoping that soon he goes back to sleeping through the night! I have found a few preschools that I'm hoping N. can go to this year yet. His speech has come a long way, but still needs therapy and so once we have settled a little bit more, I hope to get him back into some sessions. We are thinking of holding him back this upcoming year for kindergarten, so he can have a year to improve upon his emotional and social skills. He is young for his age, and since his birthday is the beginning of August, it might be the best idea to keep him in preschool next year. I love his ideas, and how  affectionate he is, especially toward his little brother.  H. has been cruising around furniture and talking up a storm! He says mama, dada, baba, and kiki. He loves watching his older brother's antics, and definitely loves to let us know when he isn't happy about something.
Matt and I have been doing well lately. We are excited to be down here, and I have had an interview already. It's with a company that assists developmentally disabled persons, so it's something that I know I love. Today I should hear about if I got the position or not. Onto something I discovered with one of the blogs I followed and hope to be doing every Friday!

Five Question Friday!

Rules for 5QF: Copy and Paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them, then watch for the linky to appear Friday Morning!

1.) Would you rather be on ABC's Extreme Home Makeover or TLC's What Not To Wear?

2.)DO you have any tattoos?

3.) Do you tell your kids about things you did growing up?

4.) If the traffic signal turns yellow, do you speed up or slow down?

5.) What is your preferance: chocolate or chips?

1.)Would you rather be on ABC's Extreme Home MakeOver or TLC's What Not To Wear?
This one is easy. Extreme Home Makeover, if we bought this house. I can't imagine spending so much money on clothes when I could do something much more creative with that money.

2.)Do you have any tattoos? Yes, on my lower back. That's all I'm saying about that.

3.)Do you tell your kids about this you did growing up? As that my oldest is four, I really don't tell him much, except about the time I broke my arm, and hiding in places.

4.)If the traffic signal turns yellow, do you slow down or speed up? Usually, I speed up, unless I'm to far away to make it through. My sister and I have this thing where we kiss our palms and smack the dashboard while we go through yellow lights, for good luck.

5.) Whats your preference, chocolate or chips?
Chocolate most definitely. I can count on one hand how many times I have ate chips in the past year. I don't even really add salt into whatever I'm cooking. I definitely love sweets.
