Scrooge...

I am the scrooge of Valentine's Day. It's fairly childish and over-rated. I mean, does anyone really know what the history behind Valentine's Day is? It's suppose to be a celebration over the many Valentine's that had been martyred through out history, and originally was St. Valentine's Day until 1969 when Pope Paul VI decided not to have it a recognized anymore on the saints roman calender.(Probably due to the fact that Halmark was way more profitable.) So..in light of that, I wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day, despite mine not being that happy.

To-morrow is Saint Valentine's day,
All in the morning betime,
And I a maid at your window,
To be your Valentine.
Then up he rose, and donn'd his clothes,
And dupp'd the chamber-door;
Let in the maid, that out a maid
Never departed more.
—William Shakespeare, Hamlet, Act IV, Scene 5
