Summer hasn't yet arrived and already we have been busy on weekends, and our schedule for the rest of summer is filling up fast! Between birthdays, graduations, and family time, there is but a few free weekends. I enjoy this quite a bit, but at the same time I realized in one of our rare free weekends that it feels good to just relax at home too.
We have already made a trip to Henry Villa's Zoo, stayed for two nights at the Kalahari Hotel and Waterpark, attended an amazing wedding and watched my little brother recieve his high school diploma. Ofdah!
Our weekend at the zoo was really fun. Both boys really enjoyed it, and Papa Steve and N. had fun making the rest of us look like slow pokes! Those two were on a mission to find the penguins! We saw all sorts of creatures; seals, bison, bears, diffrent primates, a rhino, girrafes, tigers, and a lion pride, complete with a lion cub! N.'s favorite was the penguins, but H.'s favorite was the bear. N. wanted to swim with the penguins and take one home with him, and H. blew the grizzly bear a kiss and pointed and squeeled. It was adorable. N. and I fed geese and ducks as well during lunch.
